Terra Cotta Roman Tile (03.030.1)

Found in an excavation near Jerusalem with other tiles arrange in stacks. Possibly the ruins of a Roman barracks were soldiers were making tiles stamped with military insignia of the tenth Legion.
The tenth Legion was mainly responsible for the destroying the second Temple. LEXFR means Legio X Decima Fretensis., tenth Roman legion and their nickname Fretensis.
